We’re takin’ our talents to Farm Town! That’s the funky-cool nickname for Farmington, right? Well, even if it’s not, we’re still really excited to tell you this…
Certified Recycling is partnering with the City of Farmington to provide mattress and box spring recycling services at a discounted price. How’s that for some awesome news?!
April 1st- May 31st, 2023
If you request a curbside pickup, then we’ll come to you! If you’d rather drop off your mattress/box spring, we’re located at 14305 Ewing Ave S, Burnsville, MN 55306. Here’s some more detailed drop-off information.
Drop Off: $25 per item
Curbside Pickup: $40 per mattress $40 per boxspring + $35 pick-up fee
*Bonus: The first 125 residents to contact Certified Recycling will receive $35 off their curbside pickup!
Please put your mattress/box spring as close to the curb as possible. However, if it’s going to rain that day, please lean the items against the garage under the overhang or throw a tarp over them.
Additional charges will apply for wet or excessively soiled units
Mattress and boxsprings in good useable condition will be donated to bridging while all others will be deconstructed and recycled.
You must be a resident of Farmington and provide a valid photo ID. All mattresses and box spring units must be dry and free of bed bugs, blood, or any other hazardous substance or contaminants.
If you’d like, we can also pick up other stuff in addition to your mattress and box spring. We recycle all sorts of household items including appliances, electronics, and more. Any recyclables beyond mattresses and box springs will be charged according to our standard pricing.
*This is a limited-time offer and is funded through The Dakota County Waste Abatement Grant.
We’re really into recycling, but we don’t do this just for us. Recycling appliances, electronics and furniture gets junk out of your space and keeps the planet looking and feeling good. And who doesn’t love looking and feeling good?
So instead of tossing your laptop or microwave in the trash, give it to us. Why? Because we recycle 98.6% of everything that comes through our door. That’s only 1.4% away from perfection. But we’re not here to brag. We’re here to recycle.
